The research program of NanoPhoton combines the efforts of four complementary work packages and is carried out as an interplay of curiosity-driven experiments probing the limits to extreme light-matter interaction (WP1), pursuit of novel EDC nanodevices and integration of electronics and photonics at the nanoscale (WP2), new theory and mathematical design tools (WP3), and the advancement of nanofabrication and nanoimaging methodology (WP4).
